REDLAND - The Convergent Palace

Centuries after the terraforming of Mars, a great calamity devastated the pillars of Martian society, causing its inhabitants to regress years of evolution and plunge into a new era of superstition and fear, where the remnants of old technology are seen as magic and the moon Phobos from Mars became the dark goddess of fear.

Environment: The Convergent Palace was a symbol of union and convergence of all people of Mars against the reign of the goddess (Phobos). Forged over canyons, the Palace could be seen from every corner of the city. With its intertwined arches, more than a political construction, it was a religious symbol, where people gathered in chains to pray for better days.

My goal with the piece was to present the grandiosity and magnificence of the Palace that rises over the rocks in contrast to the moon goddess Phobos

Mood: hope, glory, ominous sign
